About the Game

The Upper Hand is a Deck-Building, Platformer that tests the players adaptability as Gen-0 ascends in pursuit of the parts required to rebuild his space ship, all to an original sound track.

Platforming

Embrace the art of bouldering as you climb ever higher clinging hand and foot to different holds. As you progress take into consideration unique environmental holds and learn the limitations of each one. Challenge yourself to improve and pursue new abilities and customized apparel.

Adaptability

Experience distinct biomes and adapt to their unique environmental challenges. Find freedom in the variety of possible solutions to each challenge. Carve your own path and pursue ever more efficient routes and times to score points to use in the shop.

Deck

Building Your future is in your hands as you craft your playstyle using a wide array of cards’ poses and abilities to quickly and successfully conquer each challenge. Using the points collected by accomplishing level achievements and spending them at the shop you can acquire new powers for gen-0 to use in his pursuit of the top.

Gen-0

Gen-0 has been captured and needs your help! Gen-0 is Stuck in a foreign world and longs for home. Help him climb through different worlds to collect the parts of his ship needed to get back home.

Music

Our original composer Ricky Hess has poured his heart and soul into our original soundtrack. It features elements of Jazz, City pop, synth-hop and a variety of other inspirations. The upbeat tracks are sure to invigorate your pursuit of the peak.
