About the Game

The Undying Sea is a first-person exploration title about dealing with death, exploring a city in decline, and reaching out a hand to those who need it.

A few years prior, an eccentric scientist claimed to discover the key to immortality. He invites a city full of artists, scientists, and engineers to join him on a remote man-made isle in the Atlantic to reap the benefits of eternal life.

Years later, you arrive to find the island in disarray, the immortality engine shut down, the citizens in despair, and you as their only tether to the outside world. Help these strangers talk through their crises, resume their lives, and make peace with the inevitable while discovering the fate of the long-vanished professor.

  • Explore the island of Trouvère, collecting mementos to inspire the downtrodden citizens

  • Solve puzzles to access new areas or to uncover the story of the missing Professor DeRochefort

  • Access the "dream machines" to explore dream worlds rendered as 3D environments filled with strange characters and navigational rules

  • Speak with the 12 key residents of the island, helping them resolve their trauma around death and inspiring them to set their sights on what they want from life
