The Unclosed Case
THE UNCLOSED CASE is a psychological detective thriller about a case where everyone agreed a little too quickly. A woman lies dead in her bed. Her lover is dead in the chair opposite her, a bloody knife dropped at his feet. According to the precinct, the file is already closed: jealousy, a fight, a murder-suicide. You are the detective sent to confirm this. However, the evidence doesn't quite match the story everyone has decided to tell.
READ THE EVIDENCE. NOT THE OBVIOUS. Every piece of evidence is open to multiple conclusions, and only some are true. The game never tells you which is which. If you choose the easy interpretation, you end up closing a file that was never actually closed.
WHAT YOU KNOW DETERMINES WHAT YOU SAY Dialogues aren't just window dressing. The evidence you truly understand opens up new ways to confront the people you interrogate.
KILL OR SPARE. Both come with a price. What you do in those moments changes not just a single scene, but who you become at the end of the game.
FOUR ENDINGS. A SINGLE CASE THAT WAS NEVER REALLY ABOUT WHO HELD THE KNIFE. How much you understand and how far you are willing to go combine to create four entirely different finales. From a quiet, costly salvation to something much darker.
