About the Game

The Sievert Scale is a surveillance horror game where you work as a newly appointed safety contractor in a UK based nuclear power plant. There is a growing public sentiment against nuclear power, with communities still reeling from Windscale and Chernobyl. Mandatory weekly safety audits are required by law.

Fail the audit, the plant ceases operations.

From your workstation, switch between live camera feeds across the facility - watch for safety contraventions, unusual behaviour and sinister activity. Capture evidence and report incidents before they spiral out of control.

Receive instructions from management via the internal email network. Beware, protocols can change mid-shift. What matters now may not matter later.

Prioritise carefully - not everything should be reported.

A standard shift lasts 60 - 90 minutes. Incidents escalate in real time. Stay alert, adapt to changing directives, and don't let anything slip through.

Some areas of the facility are not part of your initial assignment. As incidents escalate, new camera feeds may become accessible. What’s happening deeper inside the plant was never meant to be monitored.
