About the Game

The Shrouded is a short PSX-style horror walking simulator focused on sudden scares.

You wake up alone in an abandoned cellar with one simple objective: find all 8 books and escape.

As you explore the dark environment, a hostile presence lurks nearby. It doesn’t chase you constantly - instead, it appears unexpectedly, creating moments of tension and surprise.

Gameplay is simple and minimal, centered around exploration and item collection rather than complex mechanics. The experience is short, featuring a few sudden encounters and jump scares.

Difficulty options allow players to adjust how threatening the entity is during the experience.
