About the Game

In the shadow of an abandoned keep lies the all-but-forgotten village of Weepstone. Once a thriving settlement, its fields now stand barren, and its people desperate.

Byron, the Lord of Weepstone, has taken ill, his dreams plagued with visions of unholy rituals and occult symbols.

Six unlikely commonfolk are tasked to explore the keep to discover the mysterious source of Byron's suffering. There are no heroes here.

The Secret of Weepstone is a black-and-white, dungeon crawling love letter to old school role-playing games.

Experience gameplay heavily inspired by classic D&D:

  • Roll dice for skill checks and combat.

  • Solve the dangerous puzzles guarding each dungeon’s secrets.

  • Fight a wide variety of creatures through hand-drawn black and white art.

  • Level up your characters as you find treasure and triumph in combat.

  • Outfit your party with the new weapons and equipment you loot on your journey.

  • Embrace death and gain unique "Mortal Favors" whenever characters die.

  • Gather a party of up to 8 members from common villagers to battle-worn adventurers, recruiting new characters along the way.
