The School Grudge Tapes is a first-person school horror anomaly-hunting game.

Armed with a camera, the player enters an abandoned school, observes changes in the endlessly looping floors, photographs anomalous objects, and tries to escape this nightmare.

Story Overview

You are someone drawn to adventure and supernatural rumors.

One late night, you arrive alone at a long-abandoned school with a camera in hand, hoping to capture the paranormal events said to haunt the place.
At first, everything is almost boringly quiet.

Messy classrooms, decaying corridors, empty floors.
You thought this exploration would end with nothing.

Until you try to leave.

The stairs no longer lead to the exit, and familiar places begin to repeat.

Your only choice is to keep descending, searching each floor for something that should not exist.

And that camera becomes your only way out.

Gameplay Overview

Players must find and photograph the anomalous object on each floor in order to descend.

If the correct anomaly is photographed, the player will reach the next floor.
If the wrong object is photographed, the player will be sent back to the previous floor.

Players must also keep an eye on their sanity.

Photographing the correct anomaly restores part of your sanity, while incorrect shots will reduce it.
If your sanity drops too low, terrifying consequences will begin to unfold.
