About the Game

The sun shines high in the sky. You arrive at a ruin in the desert, with only the vague promise of a priceless historical artefact hidden inside. Before you reach it, many dangers must be overcome. Can you find a path through this abandoned structure without losing your head?

The Ruin Wanderer is a small homage to the classic female archeologist simulators from the 90's. It focuses on exploration and light puzzle solving in beautifully desolate environments. Above all else, it is about atmosphere; just you, the silent ruins of a long gone civilization, and here and there a swinging blade or spike pit to watch out for.

CONTAINS:

  • A 15-30 minute level (more planned for the future)

  • No combat or dialogue, just a calm atmosphere

  • A ruin with many traps and secrets to explore

  • Walk, climb, roll, shimmy, balance, crouch and/or crawl your way around

  • Full controller support

  • Steam Cloud Save support

  • 60 fps on Steam Deck
