A rare stamp. A forgotten boarding school. A small town where every smile hides a secret.

Step into the role of Virgil Russ, a seasoned antique dealer with debts, instincts, and a reputation for finding the impossible. When you’re hired to locate the elusive “Purple Peacock,” a stamp whispered about in collector circles, your search leads to Eugene Grove — a quiet town hiding stories no one wants to remember.

Some secrets fight to stay hidden. Will you bring them to light?

The Mystery of the Purple Peacock has a hand-drawn, stylized look that blends mystery with a subtle sense of humor.

We aim to create a world that feels familiar at first — a small town, ordinary places, everyday people — but slowly reveals that something is off. Through expressive characters, carefully illustrated locations, and small visual details, Eugene Grove invites players to explore, observe, and question what they see.

With a twilight color palette of purples and warm oranges, the game feels calm and welcoming on the surface, while quietly hiding its secrets underneath. Our focus is on dialogue, and environmental storytelling, where even the smallest detail might matter.

The demo showcases what we want to achieve, but it should be viewed as a work in progress. This will give you a first impression about how the game will play.
