The Plunge Of Sludge is a 2D bullet hell roguelite where you collect trinkets, weapons, and hats to conquer a dungeon and defeat THE KEEPER. You will fail and perish, but every attempt will be different and more chaotic than the last. Will you plunge?
The Dungeon: This is a four floor structure that you will need to descend to achieve victory. Every floor comes with new and stronger enemies, new hazards, and a boss at the end of each floor ready to confront you. Each floor you will need to complete 16 handcrafted levels with varying sizes, collecting any loot and treasures you find on the way.
This game features over 500+ items that will randomly appear as descend down the dungeon, with some of them that you have to unlock by playing the game! They all change how your game will play, ranging from items that give you a simple stat boost, to items that summon hundreds of projectiles that cover your entire screen! Items can come in the form of trinkets, weapons, or hats. You'll need all the items you can get your hands on to beat this game. But don't get too attached to them, when you die you lose them all and start from scratch!
