6 itemsAbout the Game
Welcome to the page for The Pay Window, the sandbox wrestling simulation game starting in 1986!
The Pay Window is designed with the intent of being easy to pick up and play similar to text-based wrestling simulators that were common in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Features
Play through a fictionalized mid-1980s wrestling world into the 90s and 2000s.
The Pay Window puts you at the center of running the show in the most exciting era of professional wrestling history beginning in January 1986. You'll be right in the middle of the territory days with eight selectable promotions competing for survival, television deals, and territory. At the start, the game begins with 8 promotions, over 500 workers at the start with an additional 250 not-yet debuted workers.
Manage roster morale, drama, and injuries
Sign talent, negotiate contracts, create tag teams and stables, and put over your champions while your competition does the same.
Schedule weekly shows and major events while you try to keep your company afloat
Build weekly cards with matches, angles, and promo interviews. Book pay-per-views, weekly TV, squash matches common from that era, and title defenses.
Play history, or break it
Go through the eras in beginner, historic, or dynamic mode if you prefer and rewrite everything. No playthroughs ever feel the same way.
