The job posting said overnight cleaning. Good pay, no supervision, easy work. It didn't mention why the last janitor never picked up his final paycheck.

Craven & Moor Associates knows exactly what roams their offices after dark. The blood on the boardroom carpet. The handprints on the elevator. The things that drift through the hallways when the building goes quiet. Their employees can never find out. That's where you come in.

Clean up the mess. Fix what's broken. Get out before morning.

Every night gets worse. What starts as overturned furniture and strange stains turns into something you weren't prepared for. Rooms that don't behave like rooms anymore. And a cleaning checklist that still needs to get done no matter what's lurking around the corner.

The cleaning itself feels good. Scrubbing floors clean, filling trash bags, watching a filthy carpet come back to life under the vacuum. The satisfaction is real. Just try not to think too hard about what you're mopping up.
