About the Game

The Lyra Signal

A quiet signal. A forgotten voice. A mystery that echoes across time.

The Lyra Signal is a story-driven visual novel focused on atmosphere, mystery, and emotional discovery.

You follow Leo, a young man grappling with loss after the death of his parents. While sorting through remnants of the past, he uncovers an old cassette recording containing his father's voice and a name that refuses to fade: Lyra.

What begins as an attempt to understand that final message slowly draws Leo toward a signal that feels both distant and unnervingly close.

As Leo investigates further with the help of his friends, fragmented messages and moments begin to surface. Memories, perception, and reality blur together, leaving him unsure whether what he is chasing is truth, coincidence, or something that should have remained silent.

Gameplay is designed as a linear, choice-light visual novel. Players progress through dialogue, visuals, and music, with limited responses that subtly influence interpretation and outcome. There are no traditional fail states or combat mechanics. Instead, the experience emphasizes pacing, mood, and narrative cohesion.

Player choices shape how key moments are understood and determine which of several endings the story reaches. The Lyra Signal is not a game about winning or losing, but about listening to fragments across time and deciding what they truly mean.
