About the Game

The Long Tale

by Syrnik Interactive 🕹️

You are a brave knight, arriving at the castle to save the princess.
But, as it often goes, she’s already gone.
The dragon, however, is still here.

The Long Tale is a hardcore pixel platformer with a black-and-white aesthetic inspired by the 8-bit era. Each level is a deadly trap, each step a decision, and death is not punishment — it’s progress.

⚔️ Features:
• Retro visuals with no wasted pixels — pure 8-bit soul
• Brutally fair levels — no scripts, no handholding
• The dragon awaits — but his secrets remain unknown
• Living level architecture — doors may mislead
• Instant restarts — trial and error, minus the pain
• Story told through gameplay — you piece it together yourself

📜 Roadmap:
