6 itemsAbout the Game
In a world fallen silent, you are the final spark of memory. The Lonely Meadow is a meditative exploration game where you play as a wandering spirit tasked with breathing colour, sound, and soul back into a forgotten landscape.
The earth has grown yellow and stagnant, but your presence is a catalyst for change. As you glide across the desolate plains, the ground remembers what it once was - watch as vibrant emerald grasses surge to life beneath your flight path.
Your Journey of Restoration
The meadow's history lies shattered in the wind. To fully restore this sanctuary, you must seek out and reassemble 16 ancient landmarks lost to time. Each piece you find and fit back together doesn't just repair a structure; it heals a piece of the meadow's broken heart.
A World That Breathes
The meadow is not a backdrop - it is a single living system. One wind moves everything: watch gusts roll through the grass, carry the pollen, and howl past your ears, all born of the same breeze. Some moments the air falls still and the whole world holds its breath; then the weather swells again and the meadow dances.
Days pass in real time beneath drifting volumetric clouds, their shadows sweeping slowly across the grass. Stay out past dusk and the meadow changes character entirely - the moon rises, and the pollen you've awakened glows softly against the dark fields.
The Wind Knows the Way
There are no waypoints, no arrows, no map screens. When a lost piece waits somewhere out in the meadow, the wind itself remembers where - and it leans toward it. Pollen drifts that way. Gusts comb the grass over in slow, travelling waves that all point the same direction. Streaks of air slide past you like a current heading home. Learn to read the meadow, and you will never be lost in it.
And when you draw near, you may call the wind: the world turns to look, a single beam of light rises from the lost piece into the sky, and a chime rings out across the fields to welcome you closer.
Key Features
Dynamic Life Trails - Every movement matters. Your aura acts as a brush, painting life onto the environment in real-time as you fly.
The 16 Landmarks - Explore hidden corners of the map to find the remnants of a forgotten land. Piece them together to unlock new areas. All inspired by British icons
Atmospheric Flight - A fluid, physics-based flight system designed for relaxation and grace. Dive from the sky to release a burst of wind that wakes the meadow around you.
One Living Wind - Grass, pollen, sound, and sky all share a single simulated wind that gusts, lulls, and breathes.
The Wind Knows the Way - No waypoints, no markers. The wind flows toward the next lost piece - read the combing grass and drifting pollen, follow the current, and call a beam of light into the sky when you're near.
Day, Night, and Weather - A full day/night cycle with drifting clouds, moving cloud shadows, moonlit nights, and glowing pollen after dark.
A Soundtrack That Listens - Music swells as you soar and dissolves when you rest, leaving only the sound of wind through the grass.
No Menus, No Meters - Your abilities live in the world itself: two small companion orbs that fill, glow, and burst. Nothing ever covers the meadow.
A Living Canvas - Transition the world from a dead and desolate void to a lush, symphonic paradise through your actions.
"The grass doesn't just grow; it remembers. The flowers don't just bloom; they sing. You are the conductor of the meadow's rebirth."
