About the Game

It's the apocalypse and it's your job to save the last surviving minnows on the planet. To keep them alive for 100 days, you'll need to carefully manage water conditions, breed fish with beneficial traits, and adapt to environmental fluctuations. Each day brings new opportunities and risks. Will your minnows thrive, or will they perish?

Each day, you’ll check water conditions, manage food supplies, and decide which fish to breed. Adjust temperature, oxygen, and filtration manually—while dealing with unexpected malfunctions. A clogged filter might spike contamination, while a power outage could shut down oxygenation and heating completely. Every decision impacts the tank’s fragile ecosystem.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Tank Conditions

Manually adjust machinery to counteract temperature shifts, oxygen depletion, and contamination build-up. Aging equipment, power outages and unexpected events make this more difficult than it sounds.

  • Genetic Survival

Breed fish with unique traits, balancing strengths and weaknesses for long-term survival. Discover and experiment with over a dozen mutations. Some fish thrive in low-oxygen conditions, while others grow larger but require more food. Still others produce more offspring or clean the tank of contaminants. Breed traits that help your fish deal with changing conditions, survive longer and pass their genetic advantages to the next generation.

  • Resource Management

Carefully manage a limited food supply, unpredictable power source and fluctuating oxygen levels. Choose between growing a larger population or culling weaker fish to ensure long-term survival. Risk keeping a fish alive for breeding, or sacrifice it for food. Power outages may prevent you from improving tank conditions, forcing you to make some tough decisions.

  • Unpredictable Challenges

Equipment failures, water leaks, or sudden contamination surges keep you on edge. Random traits and events make each play-through challenging and unpredictable. No single strategy is sure to succeed.

Survival isn't guaranteed. Adaptation is key. Will your minnows make it?

Backstory:

A cataclysm of unknown origin wiped out all life on Earth. You managed to survive underground with two minnows, the last fish on the planet. If the Earth is to recover, you must survive and the minnows with you. Both of you will be needed to repopulate the planet. Using parts you gathered over decades of preparation, you built a tank with everything the fish will need to survive. A bunker, of sorts, for these two tiny fish. Now in the tank, you must keep these minnows alive.
