The world ended with a global policy update.
Manmark, a trillion-dollar AI corporation, decided history was just too messy, too full of contradictions, human errors, and inconvenient facts. So, they hit delete. They banned the books. Replaced them with algorithmically approved versions of events. They rewrote the past until it perfectly mirrored the future they were building.
But they missed a spot.
You are the keeper of the last library - a hidden sanctuary for everything that was supposed to vanish forever. Your job is exactly what it sounds like: put the books back where they belong. Catalog what's left. Repair what's been damaged. Keep the lights on in a place that officially doesn't exist.
It sounds simple. That's sort of the point.
