5 itemsAbout the Game
You are the crafter, not the hero. The heroes handle the fighting. You handle everything that matters.
The Last Foundry is a crafting-first auto-ARPG. Your adventurers run maps on their own, but every piece of gear they wear, every skill they cast, and every map they enter came off your workbench. When a run ends, the loot comes back to you, and the real game begins.
Craft the builds, then watch them run
Assemble a roster of adventurers and equip them entirely through crafting. Mix gear, skill items, and affixes to shape how each adventurer plays. Send them into generated maps, watch encounters play out, and collect the drops. No grinding combat yourself. Your skill is expressed at the anvil.
Deep, targeted crafting
Items carry implicits, prefixes, and suffixes with tiered affix rolls. Inspect full affix pools before you commit, upgrade rarity step by step, and chase the exact modifier your build needs. That includes skill-altering affixes that change how abilities behave, not just how hard they hit, so the same skill can anchor completely different builds.
Specialize your workshop
Spend workshop progression across Precision, Fortune, and Automation. Sharpen your crafting odds, juice your luck, or automate the repetitive parts. Your workshop identity shapes every item you make.
Automate the grind, keep the decisions
Set up auto-crafting rules with a target affix and minimum tier, stage your materials, and let the workshop churn while you plan the next build. Manual crafting always stays available for the rolls that matter.
Craft your adventures
Craft and modify the maps your adventurers run. Map modifiers create authored problems. Prepare your roster for them, or take the risk for bigger reward.
The loop
Adventures run autonomously and bring back drops
Sort, and stage your crafting materials
Craft upgrades: equipment, skill items, and maps
Reconfigure your roster and send them back out
Push higher tiers, chase better affixes, repeat
