About the Game

Write words. Fill shelves. Watch reality buckle.

Words become pages. Pages become books. Every book needs a genre, and each genre changes how your library grows. Fill enough shelves and reality folds. Everything resets.

Almost. You rebuild faster, stranger, deeper. And the Library starts to notice you've been here before.

Prestige is the story

Tooltips change between runs. Labels rename themselves. Log entries reference books you haven't written yet.

Five acts. Three endings. One Library that remembers everything.

Core Features

12 Genres, Your Strategy

Horror builds a Dread meter toward devastating bursts. Poetry grants timed global buffs. Romance generates paired words. Your genre balance shapes your path to the ending.

80+ Secret Combinations

Rare Words surface as you write. Combine them into Phrases with powerful effects — none documented. No guide tells you what "Eternal Autobiography Tome" does.

Five Prestige Tiers

Redraft resets your town. Rewrite resets the county. Redaction resets the country. Each tier brings new currencies, new mechanics, and new cracks in the fourth wall.

The Interface Changes Around You

No cutscenes. The story lives in the menus, names that shift between runs, entries that shouldn't exist yet, a Library that speaks through your UI.

Designed to End

~30-50 hours. Three resolution paths. Optional postgame. Complete experience, not a live service.

Also Includes

  • Scriptorium - merge Words into higher-rarity discoveries

  • Skill tree with three progression branches

  • Genre synergy bonuses

  • Offline progression (up to 24 hours, expandable)

  • Active play multiplier (3-5x idle rate)

  • Run history and stats

  • No ads. No microtransactions. Just the Library.

From Endpaper

Endpaper is one person in South West UK, building the kind of incremental I always wanted to find: one that ends, one that means something, one where the systems are the story. Built in Godot 4.6.
