About the Game

"Garden of the Gnome" is a deck-building roguelike centered around plant cultivation. Players control Ceares, a protagonist wielding the magical artifact "Garden of the Gnome," growing plant cards within dungeons while engaging in tactical combat against formidable foes.

■ Unique Plant Cultivation System

Plant cards in your field to accumulate growth points, progressing through stages: Seed → Sprout → Mature. Each growth stage enhances the card's effects, expanding your combat options.

Providing moderate amounts of water and fertilizer helps plants grow, but over-application won't speed up growth and increases disease susceptibility. Growing plants from the same family in the same plot causes crop rotation issues, stunting growth and inviting disease—strategic cultivation planning is essential.

Diseases can be treated in early stages, but if left unchecked, plants will wither. Intentionally letting cards wither to thin your deck is also a viable strategy.

■ Deck-Building × Tactical Combat

Engage in turn-based card battles, unleashing the power of plants to attack! Master a diverse array of unique cards—from field-deployable cards to those with persistent effects. A distinctive combat system combining tactical positioning on isometric maps with deck-building strategy.

■ The Cultivation vs. Rest Dilemma

At rest nodes, you can recover health—but you can also spend that time cultivating plants. Watering and fertilizing consumes time and reduces recovery, forcing difficult choices: cultivate or rest?

■ Branching Map Selection

In branching maps, reach any exit to clear the stage! Different exits lead to different maps, offering varied adventure paths each run. (Enemies don't need to be defeated to clear.)

■ Dungeon Exploration and Boss Battles

Explore randomly generated dungeons, clearing maps by defeating all enemies. The game ends when your health reaches zero, or when you defeat the boss lurking in the dungeon's depths!

■ Diverse Plants and Synergies

Various plant cards from different botanical families appear, each with unique effects and growth patterns. Combine plants to create diverse strategies—from aggressive builds to defense-focused builds, or builds utilizing status effects.
