About the Game

The Fifth Bell is a story-driven 2D point-and-click adventure set across Europe in 1994.

When a sealed cavity inside Strasbourg Cathedral reveals a modern cassette tape, archival consultant Evan Marek is drawn into a mystery that should not exist. By morning, the historian who found it is dead.

His warning is simple: Don’t let them ring the fifth bell.

As Evan follows the trail from Strasbourg to other European cities, he uncovers fragments of an ancient acoustic machine hidden for centuries inside cathedral bell towers. Built in secret, concealed as relics, and never meant to be reassembled, the device is more than symbolic — it is dangerous.

Explore hand-crafted locations, gather clues, solve grounded inventory and environmental puzzles, and uncover a conspiracy built on history, faith, and sound.

The Fifth Bell is inspired by classic 90s adventure games, combining elegant European atmosphere, slow-burn mystery, cinematic storytelling, a meticulously developed soundtrack, and rich ambient sound design to create a premium narrative adventure experience.
