About the Game

The Czar is Dead 2 is a first-person rpg-shooter that tells the story of Nikolai Romanov's fight against the Communists and Anglo-Saxon invaders. The Czar managed to save himself from being shot, but the little Czesarevich was kidnapped by the villains and taken to an unknown destination. Will the former Emperor manage to save his son, atone for his sins and win the civil war? It depends only on you.

The game is based on Christian principles, the most important of which is free will - each person during his earthly sojourn can be either a slave of God or a slave of sin. Man often seeks justification for his sinful behavior, but worse, he sins without any regard for the Lord and His commandments. Whether to play the “bad king”, to try to save everyone or to temper his pride and help at least himself, each player can follow his own ideas of good and evil.

A characteristic feature of any of my work is a cynical, borderline legal humor that balances the seriousness of the narrative. Multiple references to the present day indicate that the game is not about the beginning of the XX century, not about communists and not about the Tsar - it is about our dark times, in which the bar of empathy has fallen to zero. No one is pitied here, so the game makes fun of everyone and everything - from Christ, who looks more like the Antichrist, to ordinary workers, who have been reduced to the level of insects.

The game is in active development, with an expected release date of early 2026.
