A Tavern at the Edge of Everything
The Crossroads begins as a small cute unkown tavern. Pour drinks, pocket tips, and expand into a sprawling tavern that draws adventurers from across the realms.
Features:
Desktop overlay: the tavern lives in the corner of your screen. Hold Alt to peek in while you work.
Build & expand: kitchen, brewery, alchemy lab, stage, dice table, guild hall, lodging, deep cellar, and more.
Recruit heroes: warriors, rangers, mages, rogues, and bards wander in. Hire them, equip them, train them.
Turn based RPG style quests— a 6-chapter story (The Waygate Saga) plus procedural contracts. Per-combatant initiative, class skill trees, line-of-sight aggro, loot drops.
Endless Depths: procedural infinite dungeon with rising difficulty and permanent Waygate Sigils.
Idle economy: patrons drink, tip, gamble, and sleep. Gold flows even when you're not watching.
The Ledger: infinite investments keep gold meaningful forever.
Prestige system: Guild Renown: reset for permanent bonuses, as many times as you want.
Always Growing
The tavern never closes. Heroes train while you sleep. Quests await when you return. How far down can you go?
