Training of All Spirits

Years of arduous practice, all for waiting for that imperial capital examination that decides destiny. This trial does not test the level of magical skills, only your depth of understanding of the word 'human.' You are fully prepared, but at the very last moment before taking the exam on horseback... an unexpected transformation occurs: the golden light before your eyes suddenly twists into endless grey fog. Rules are chaotic, identities are confused, and everyone you see seems illusory, yet as if hiding some kind of truth. You still need to face officials, civilians, merchants, monks, and priests... but their words are concealed, their joys and angers are like blades. Every move you make is no longer answering questions, but performing salvation.
