About the Game

It has been raining for three days. Or the city is crying. Hard to say — you're a detective, not a weatherman.

The last shawarma in town is gone. The owner is destroyed. The police have "real crimes". You work for seeds, and you just took the case.

A noir told in black, grey, and a single colour of gold.

What you do

  • Interrogate impossible witnesses. A pigeon who sells the truth by the seed ("the coo — that's the VAT"). A vending machine that has stood in the underpass for eleven years and answers only in products. A femme fatale who wandered in from a more expensive movie.

  • Spend seeds, not money. In this city the whole economy — even justice — runs on sunflower seeds. Every question costs. Haggle if you dare.

  • Read the evidence. Examine crumpled foil under a magnifier, crack a four-digit order archive, finish a femme fatale's lines before the pause becomes an answer.

  • Reach the truth you were avoiding. Multiple endings. One of them you will not like — because a man doesn't remember what he didn't pay for.

Features

  • A dense, hand-written noir-comedy script — every line played straight.

  • Five little cases-within-the-case: foil analysis, haggling, the order archive, a duel of lines, and the detective's notebook.

  • Branching investigation with several endings and a case file that remembers your best run.

  • Fully bilingual — English and Russian, switchable any time, with adjustable text speed.

  • Adaptive picture: resize the window freely or go fullscreen — no black bars, ever.

  • 100% drawn in code — not a single sprite. Rain, neon, wet asphalt and smoke, all procedural.

  • Short and dense. A case you can close in one rainy evening.

Justice was done — and it tasted of onions.
