About the Game

Gameplay

The Busker is a non-linear 2D hand drawn Metroidvania platformer where you explore a dystopian urban landscape. Fight bosses to unlock new movement abilities. Discover hidden areas and faster routes through the game. Smash your enemies with your trusty guitar and acquire new instruments to unleash more damage. Upgrade your guitar with effects pedals.

Story

A bunny down on their luck picks up a guitar to make ends meet. Promptly arrested for merriment without a license, The Busker is thrown in jail. Surprisingly the hit band The Smash is also behind bars!

When everyone is asleep for the night, the band is yanked out of their bunks and carted off to a corporate prison never to be seen again. It's up to The Busker to rescue the band and possibly open up for them on tour. It might be the only chance to make it.
