About the Game

Serve the crown in The Baron's Burden: One Fortnight. As a medieval baron, you have fourteen days to manage your estate, grow your crops, and satisfy the ever-changing demands of a capricious king or face the consequences of his displeasure.

Build your plots, recruit peasants to work the land, and make sure you have what the King demands, be it gold, crops, or meats. Each demand is a race against the clock, and a king who doesn't get what he wants is a dangerous king indeed!

No two runs are the same. The King's personality shapes the demands he makes and how harshly he judges your failures. Some kings are patient, while others are not. Unlock new crops, new environments, and new royal temperaments as you prove your worth across multiple runs, building toward mastery of the estate one fortnight at a time.

And if you've earned it, you won't be managing the estate alone. A loyal companion at the Baron's side makes the fortnight a little less burdensome.
