About the Game

The game takes place in a remote settlement isolated from cities and known society, where an unknown group performs experiments on the inhabitants, unleashing a horror that lurks around every corner.

Explore Bakerville to uncover its dark secrets while trying to survive the nightmare that awaits there.

Investigate every house, building and area you come across and you might discover something useful that will help you progress.

The Bakerville Case is inspired by the true events of the secret 1950s "MK Ultra" program, to build a haunting and mysterious story that can be complemented as the player explores the playable environments.

You are Thomas Baker, a journalist who, after being contacted by an anonymous source, travels to a town to investigate a series of horrifying unknown events.

In a town located in North America called Bakerville, terror and evil wait to be found. According to the anonymous source, an unknown group is performing horrifying experiments on the people of the town, and the center point of all of it seems to be a nearby psychiatric hospital.

Thomas arrives in Bakerville to discover the terrifying mystery at the heart of the town, but he was never going to imagine what he would find in that place.

ABOUT ENVIRA ENHANCE

  • Envira Enhance is our advanced graphics system powered by DirectX, enabling Real-Time Global Illumination and enhanced shadows using Ray Tracing, as well as high-fidelity volumetric lighting.

  • High-quality volumetric lighting generated with Quantum Volumetrics, part of the Envira Enhance ecosystem.

  • Pulse Illumination is our ray tracing system that does not depend on RTX cores, and is composed of multiple functionalities such as Real-Time Global Illumination, which improves the behavior of lighting in the elements of the environment, as well as the reaction of objects, adding light bounces and transluminescence to certain materials and textures. Shadows also improve its behavior, such that it changes its rendering depending on its distance from a light source, this is possible thanks to our ShadingWorks system, which improves the shadows quality.
