You are Gabrielle, an archaeologist visiting Japan, when you receive a mysterious phone call. A man offers you the opportunity to assess Yokogawa Castle and determine whether it should be preserved or condemned. Before he even finishes speaking, you’ve already agreed. It has to happen today.
During your research, you learn hitobashira was practiced there - human sacrifices buried within the walls to protect the castle. Some rituals were never meant to end.
