About the Game

Note: This game is an experimental narrative game, with all guidance integrated into the story. Some interactions and operations require speculation based on the plot content. Please purchase with caution.

When one feels out of step with the world because of certain differences, how does one discover one’s own strengths and worth? When communication with others proves impossible, how does one perceive and accept the other by attuning to their frequency?

Jules, a Arctic tern capable of emitting sounds between 10 and 1,000 hertz, is unable to attract the female of his choice because his vocal frequency is lower than that of the other males in his flock. Jules always considered himself an outsider within the flock; though well looked after, he could never quite fit in. Thanks to his exceptionally keen sense of sound, Jules discovered an artists’ village by the coast and befriended the artist Santi and other creatives. Through repeated attempts and adjustments, they eventually established a unique mode of communication and became close companions. When the Arctic terns migrated to Antarctica, Jules, having left his companions behind, faced new adventures and experiences.

Set against hand-drawn natural landscapes, experience the distinctive scenery of the coast, the artists’ village, the painter’s studio, and the waters of the Arctic and Antarctic. Immerse yourself in the daily life and communication patterns of the Arctic terns, emit your own frequency, and interact with creatures of different frequencies.
