About the Game

Hunt down tax-evading billionaires and rebuild society in a 2D action-roguelite platformer inspired by 90's comicbooks. You’ll fight through mutant henchmen with melee focused souls-lite combat, make tough moral choices, rebuild society and upgrade your biomes with a unique card-collecting economy system, and discover a time-looping branching narrative.

Your goal; negotiate repayments from your targets to repay the planet’s Solar Shield debt, preventing planetwide destruction. You have 7 cycles.

Melee Combat

To reach your targets, you’ll need to use your fists and boots to fight through their mutant henchmen, with a focus on tough, close-range combat, in hand-drawn, rogue-lite biomes that remix with every run.

Mutant Powers

When you need extra power, equip special abilities inspired by comicbook mutant powers, including Astral Projection! Metal Man! Optical Blasts!

Economy, Strategy and Morality

Negotiate with targets to affect the economy, narrative and gameplay on each run. Will you reinvest in business to pay off the debt quicker, or fund public services to upgrade the biome and help you on your mission?

Rebuild

As you rebuild society, the gameplay reacts. New bridges, paths and upgrades appear in your biomes as you invest in infrastructure. Price and potency of healing items respond to public or private investment in healthcare. Weapons and criminal activity respond as you increase security spend.

Branching Narrative

Every decision leads to narrative consequences for the planet’s citizens, as their stories are guided by your choices, and the city organically grows and changes around them.

Timeloop

Dying activates your time-travelling mutant power, sending you back to the first cycle, armed with knowledge of your enemies and the consequences of your actions.

Stunning Visuals

Gorgeous, hand-drawn comic book art style inspired by Jim Lee and 90’s X-men comics.
