Cooperation and Competition

  • True Cooperation: Must jointly defend the base; success and failure are shared.

  • Resource Management: Strategic communication is required for distributing power-ups.

  • Tactical Coordination: Tactics like "Bait and Ambush" or "Flanking Maneuvers" can be employed.

  • Score Competition: Maintains individual score competition even within cooperation.

Classic Strategies

  • "Goalie" Tactic: One player defends the base, the other takes the offensive.

  • Power-up Control: Negotiating who picks up key items.

  • Respawn Protection: Protecting a teammate who has just respawned.

  • Terrain Modification: Coordinating to create advantageous paths.

Controls and Actions

  • Movement: Control the tank's movement in four directions.

  • Firing: Shoot bullets to attack enemies or destroy terrain.

  • Strategy: Requires smart use of terrain for cover and predicting enemy movement patterns.

Enemy Tank System

The game features four basic enemy tank types, each with distinct visual identifiers and behavioral patterns:

  • Basic Tank: Standard speed for movement and bullet fire.

  • Fast Tank: High movement speed.

  • Rapid-Fire Tank: High rate of fire.

  • Armored Tank: Features armor, fast bullet speed, and slightly slower movement.

Power-up System

Destroying a flashing tank drops a power-up. Touching it grants the following enhancements:

  • Fortify Base: Temporarily transforms the base walls into steel.

  • Increase Firepower (Up to 3 Levels):

    • Level 1: Standard bullet, slow firing rate.

    • Level 2: Fast firing rate, capable of rapid shots.

    • Level 3: Maximum firing rate, highest burst shot capacity, can destroy steel blocks.

  • Airstrike: Instantly destroys all current enemy tanks on screen.

  • Freeze: Temporarily halts all enemy tanks.

  • Extra Life: Awards one additional life.

  • Temporary Invincibility: Grants a short period of invulnerability.

Terrain Interaction System

Features a variety of terrain types with distinct properties:

  • Bricks: Can be destroyed by bullets.

  • Steel: Cannot be destroyed by standard bullets.

  • Water: Tanks cannot traverse, but bullets can pass over it.

  • Forest: Conceals tanks and bullets from view.

  • Ice: Tanks slide with momentum when moving.
