About the Game

● Overview

A revamped version of "TAILS GEAR", originally released in 2007, featuring high-resolution support, new systems, and rearranged background music.

A full-fledged 2.5D vertical-scrolling shooter characterized by the Tail Pod, an optional weapon that combines offense and defense.

While classified as a bullet hell type game, the Tail Pod's defensive shield allows for flexible gameplay.

● Story

Five years have passed since the war between the United Nations Forces and the giant corporation Astral Tech.

Hermann Arnold, a man who survived the war as an Astral Tech corporate pilot after undergoing nerve-steeling surgery, losing most of his pain sensations and emotions, lives on the run after the war's end, hearing the tormented cries of his fallen comrades in nightmares.

None of his comrades who were shot down and taken prisoner, or who surrendered at the end of the war, ever returned. Rumors spread that pilots enhanced with unknown technology were treated as spoils of war and not given the treatment of human beings.

While a world government, established from the International Unification Treaty Organization, promoted post-war reconstruction under the banners of a "government without borders" and "a leap into space," a horrifying truth was concealed behind the scenes. Ostensibly built as a symbol of the new unified government's power, these unmanned mobile weapons were actually devices that incorporated the soldiers as biological central units.

Reunited with Dr. Hegel, a technician who had also been in hiding to escape government pursuit, Arnold learns the full story. Realizing that his comrades' voices were not merely a nightmare, he resolves to fight to "liberate" them. Entrusted with the machine "DYNOSTAIL" by Dr. Hegel, its special weapon, the "Tail Pod," connects directly to Arnold's augmented nervous system, functioning like a second body.

Connecting his nerves to this machine, beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human, he takes flight into space, shrouded in a false peace, to kill his former comrades.
