About the Game

TACO TERROR asks the boldest questions about the tastiest of threats as a glorious boomer shooter with hilarious writing and vibrant 2D art, all set against a capitalism-gone-insane cyberpunk future. Prepare for upgrades, prepare for choices, prepare to brutalize the enemies that have taken everything from you! Oh, and you should probably prepare to be hunted by an entire, globe-spanning corporation. No pressure...

Story Time!

You are Esteban Gonzalez - son to the renown Palo Gonzalez, who ushered in a technological golden age with his unbelievably-specific A.I. creation G.R.E.T.A.I. This metal brain took control of vital industries such as fast food, old electronic recycling, a single government computer with a sign next to it that reads "DON'T TOUCH EVER!!!", and all butterfly lifecycle programs. The Technical Artisanal Culture Organization (or T.A.C.O. for short) took control of G.R.E.T.A.I. after killing Palo, and they've let the A.I. run absolutely wild.
