About the Game

STORY

Dr. Chromus was an award-winning painter until a wildlife encounter in the Outback left him colorblind. Since then, he has sworn revenge on all animals, kidnapping, among others, a kangaroo named Jade. Driven mad by his search for a cure, Dr. Chromus conducted evil experiments which inadvertently gave Jade colorkinetic powers!

After breaking out of captivity, Jade vowed to not only escape the lab, but to use her new abilities to rescue the others and put an end to Dr. Chromus's tyranny once and for all...

GAMEPLAY

Jade quickly hops from platform to platform, making navigation a breeze. In addition to her hop, she can do a simple jump, double jump, and super jump, the latter of which is charged by crouching! Enemy Mechanobots can be defeated with a stomp, and obstacles such as crates are easily taken out with a kick.

In addition to her physical powers, Jade has mental control over the primary colors of the lab. By switching the active color with a mouse click, colored contraptions react in different ways. For example, when the color blue is active, blue blocks become solid, and red and yellow blocks become passable!

The secondary colors, being impure, require mechanical means to activate. Pressure plates control the color purple, Flipswitches control the color green, and Levers control the color orange, adding depth to the lab's trickery...

As Jade continues her dangerous trek into Dr. Chromus's territory, she'll encounter new contraptions such as Conveyors, Magnets, Lasers, and more, all of which will test her vibrant powers in new and interesting ways!

CONTENT

Switcheroo contains over 60 levels scattered across 7 zones, each representing a different phase of Dr. Chromus's research. From the darkest depths of Nycto Zone, where Jade must rely on colored lights to guide her way, to the lethal atmosphere of Toxo Zone, where color can mix in harrowing ways, there are plenty of adventures to be had!

Each level also contains 3 batteries, tucked away in hidden corridors or at the end of platforming challenges. These collectibles are used to unlock ultra-hard secret levels... Is Jade up for the challenge?
