About the Game

The floor knows where the monsters are.

It's trying to tell you. Numbers etched into the stone. A "3" means three things with teeth, hiding nearby. A "1" means maybe you'll live. A blank tile? Go for it!

Sweep Happens is a roguelite where Minesweeper logic is the only thing keeping you alive. Read the numbers. Pick a path. Live with the consequences. Try to avoid enemies and go as deep in the dungeon as you can.

WHEN LOGIC FAILS, FIGHT

Step on a tail with a monster and combat goes real-time. Dodge projectiles in an arena. Time your swing. Burn mana on spells. Five weapon families, five attack minigames, an ability roster deep enough to break most encounters and a few that will break you back.

Spells, runes, holy strikes, freezing winds. Pick what you bring. The arena doesn't care what kills the dragon, only that something does.

EVERYONE DOWN HERE IS A COMEDIAN

A retired dragon with back pain. An elf elder still mad about the council vote. An eight-year-old with a slingshot, braver than any of them. A rat in a crown who insists he runs this place. A mushroom that won't stop offering you tea. A beaver with blueprints for a siege weapon he hasn't built yet.

TALK YOUR WAY THROUGH.

Every NPC remembers how you treated them and their friends. Being helpful, opens many doors - secret topics, side quests, gold, the occasional map of the floor below.

LOOT THAT ISN'T ALWAYS PRACTICAL

Dozens of weapons. Armor in every slot. Some legendary. Some cursed. Some you'll equip just to find out what it does.

EACH RUN, NEVER THE SAME TWICE

Procedurally generated layouts. Branching exits at deeper floors - pick the safe one or the rich one. Save and resume any time. Short enough for a coffee break. Long enough to ruin one.

WHAT'S DOWN THERE

  • 20 floors of dungeon, deepening as you go

  • Dozens of monsters and bosses with their own attack patterns

  • Dozens of items across 8 gear slots

  • 30+ NPCs who remember you, with mood-locked dialog and side quests

  • Five weapon types, each with its own attack minigame

  • Branching level graph, save and resume, short light-weighted runs

  • Music-synced cutscenes with a singing bard

SOMETHING IS WAITING AT THE BOTTOM

Below the ruins. Past the crypts. Beneath the abyss itself. There is a lord of this dungeon. He doesn't know you yet, but boy oh boy he's about to!
