At the end of 2021, there was a solar flare of such magnitude that there is now insufficient heat to heat the planet. All electronics broke down, clocks stopped, cars stalled, and an eternal winter of abnormally low temperatures began, resulting in countless deaths and illnesses. The government had fallen, the laws were no longer in effect, and the few survivors clung to life at all costs, ready to kill their neighbors for a can of stew or a warm thing.
Key features:
- Make decisions, often hard and irreversible
- Fabricate anything that will help you survive, from bandages and first aid kits, to warm clothing and tools
- Explore your surroundings before you set up camp
- Make sure your character doesn't die from cold, hunger, thirst or bleeding
- The whole game is based on possible real events (global cooling)
