About the Game

Subspace Hunter is a VR action game; The game supports players to use any combination of firearms, magic, swords and other weapons to fight and challenge various fantasy creatures in the world of Subspace.

Story:

  • Mysterious spatial cracks known as "Gates" have started appearing globally, leading to a subspace inhabited by numerous demons not found in our world, which they use to invade our reality.

  • To counter this demonic threat, the "Subspace Hunters Association" has developed advanced glasses that allow ordinary individuals to beomce Subspace Hunters. These glasses awaken their superpowers, empowering them to track and defeat the invading demons.

  • The "Gates" serve not only as portals to chaos but also as gateways to countless worlds within the subspace, each interconnected and influencing the others. At the heart of this realm is the "Paradise Tower", residence of the subspace ruler.

  • Hunters are summoned to fight in both the real world and the subspace, honing their abilities through endless battles. As they journey, they uncover the truth behind the invasions, striving to defeat the demonic dity residing at the top of the “Paradise Tower” to stop the subspace crisis.

battle:

  • Players can use swords to intercept enemy bullets, projectiles, etc., and can use swords to block, deflect, and parry enemy sword swing attacks.

  • Players can use different types of magic skills to attack enemies.

  • Players can use different types of firearms to attack enemies.

  • Players combine the three combat methods to fight.

  • There are enemies in the game that use magic, firearms, and swords. Different enemies have completely different combat logics, and players need to make different combat strategies for different enemies.

Gameplay:

  •   The main gameplay revolves around a roguelike tower-climbing format, where players start from the bottom floor of the tower, progressively defeating the boss on each floor to unlock the next level of challenges, ultimately reaching the top to confront the final boss. Each floor features multiple difficulty levels, with higher levels unlocked only after clearing the current difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the rarer the materials dropped, which players can use to craft more powerful weapons and items to enhance combat capabilities.

  •   In each floor challenge, players encounter a large map with smaller, strategic sub-level choices. Each sub-level could contain various random elements such as battles, trades, traps, or treasure chests, and each time a player enters a floor challenge, the order and nature of the sub-levels are randomly generated.

  •   After completing each sub-level, players receive a choice of roguelike build options, allowing them to combine different build elements to enhance their character's abilities within the level. Upon death, all loot from the current level, except crystals and coins, will be permanently lost. Players can craft necessary weapons at the player's base using blueprints they have unlocked.
