About the Game

Subciety is an open world submarine simulator with base building and physics-based gameplay set beneath the ice of Europa. Mine, trade and create resources in order to survive. This low-poly game takes place in a huge underwater world and takes inspiration from some of the classic space games of the retro era such as Elite and Frontier.

  • Pilot a futuristic, upgradable mini-sub in a procedurally generated world populated by fellow base dwellers and submariners

  • Salvage huge buildings and drag them back to your base

  • Create the oxygen, food and drinkable water you need to survive. Like every resident of Europa, you consume 1 unit of each per day.

  • Manufacture and trade commodities while feeding your residents and trading with the other factions

  • Interdependent game-wide economy

  • Manufacture upgrade hardware and quantum programs

  • Hack the surrounding tech to turn it to your advantage

  • Program drones, other subs, EMP mines and turrets to outwit your competitors

  • Establish new bases in strategically and economically advantageous locations

  • Explore the underwater world and abandoned bases and discover alien settlements and artifacts
