The game's black and white aesthetic features real art from John Tenniel, who originally illustrated the book, creating a timeless bridge between Carroll's Victorian era and our digital age.

"THE END" was the last word in

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

that Lewis Carroll wrote.

And you were the last dot.

That dot after "THE END".

The last dot that every story has.

Then something strange happened.

Now you need to find your way back.

And make the story complete again."

THE STORY WITHIN THE STORY

As a father of two little daughters, I spend countless evenings reading children's books aloud. One night, while reading Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, something magical happened. In my mind's eye, I saw a single dot falling through the letters on the page – a tiny punctuation mark tumbling through the words.

That moment of inspiration became the seed for The Story of the Lost Dot. I knew right away that I needed to make a game of this vision I had. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, written in 1865, belongs to the public domain, which allowed me to build my game around this classic tale.
