Stella Spella mixes the excitement and imagination of video games with the hard work and effort of primary education, it creates a shared space for parent and children to enjoy learning to spell, by presenting the task in a fun interactive package.
Every level is unique and procedurally generated around the word goal.
Stella Spella features themed levels targeting specific learning knowledge e.g Alphabet & Days of the Week, also mixing in elements of phonics, e.g doubles etc, and features word lists drawn from the National Curriculum KeyStages 1 & 2.
The Spelling Bee Creator allows user to create their own word lists to customise their gameplay.
Stella and Miles can use their light arrows to collect letters and ward off trolls. When it all gets too much they can take refuge in a hiding tree.
