About the Game

Banners of the Galaxy is a single-player open-world space RPG and strategy game set in a galaxy divided by war, ambition, and shifting alliances.

Explore a 2D star map, build your fleet, recruit useful — or questionable — crew members, take quests, choose who to support, and fight real-time 3D space battles where the outcome can leave lasting damage on your ships.

Explore a Galaxy That Moves Without You

Travel between planets, systems, factions, and danger zones on a 2D galaxy map. Factions expand their influence, pirates regroup, fleets pursue their own goals, and opportunities can appear or disappear as the balance of power changes.

You choose where to go, which risks to take, and when to get involved — but the galaxy will not wait until you are ready.

Build and Command Your Fleet

Assemble a force that fits your style of play. Use fast scouts, heavy warships, support vessels, or a balanced fleet that can survive different kinds of encounters.

Your fleet is more than a collection of ships. Each loss, repair, upgrade, and battle decision affects how prepared you are for the next conflict.

Recruit Characters Across the Galaxy

Visit planets and hire characters who can strengthen your fleet. A navigator, engineer, veteran officer, or other specialist may give you the advantage you need — but not every recruit is worth the cost.

Choosing who joins your command is part of building the kind of fleet you want to lead.

Choose Quests, Allegiances, and Battles

Take on quests, support factions, hunt pirates, expand your influence, or pursue your own path through the conflict.

Your choices can lead to new allies, new enemies, and greater attention from the powers fighting for control of the galaxy.

Fight Real-Time 3D Space Battles

When fleets clash, battles move from the star map into full 3D space combat. Take direct control of your ships, maneuver in real time, and face enemy forces that will try to overwhelm you.

Damage taken in battle does not simply disappear. Ships can carry their wounds back to the world map, making every engagement a strategic risk.

Conquer and Expand

Forge alliances, conquer planets, and extend your influence across the galaxy. Expansion brings power, resources, and opportunity — but it also makes you harder to ignore.

The larger your presence becomes, the more dangerous the galaxy becomes in return.
