Step into the waraji of a samurai from a minor clan, sent out by his daimyo to slay the evil corrupted dragon that has stirred up the yokai and caused chaos in a small province of fantasy Japan. A wealth of honor will be bestowed on you and your clan should you succeed, but failure equals cold, hard death. Between you and the dragon stands a horde of yokai, bandits, ninja, and even rivalling samurai who want nothing more than to step over your dead body and beat you to the goal.
