About the Game

Your sight is limited in this first-person psychological horror game in the deep abyss. Use sound to your advantage, while you still have your mind in this experience of pure mind-numbing terror. Try to survive long enough to discover the terrible secrets... if you can...

Synopsis:

You are in the Abyss, a fountain of sorts. One where you are drowning deeper and deeper. You keep waking up in a room full of couches and a door to the unknown. You hold a book of the past that always resets over and over again. The monsters are dead set on bringing you back. Maybe more, but you cannot remember anything that happens once blacked out by them. Others are trying to contact you, but can you really trust them? The abyss shifts like the sea, but there is only one thing you remember. There is an outside, freedom. The portals. The portals are the key. Find the portals, and reclaim your freedom.

Features:

  • Navigate through a dark, evil abyss where your sight is severely restricted.

  • Rely on sound to guide your way and detect lurking beasts. Sound is the key to survival, and it will be used against you. (Headphones are highly recommended!)

  • Use the inventory system to gather and use items to do basic things like opening doors and solving puzzles across multiple areas.

  • There are 6 total monsters with unique behaviors with different ways to avoid their gazes and attacks.

  • The Abyss shifts slightly enough to catch you off guard after every major step and setback, sometimes very slightly or in major ways. Get captured, and get sent back to the start in a cycle of drowning more and more into the abyss's darkness.

  • Every step forward reveals more about how to better survive and get further to reach the surface, along with who you are.
