Stabjack
It’s just you, a deck of playing cards, and a knife that won’t shut up. Stabjack is the roguelike, blackjack deckbuilder where you cheat to win. Tuck cards up your sleeve to use later, change your deck, and invoke supernatural items as you investigate a dark, devilish, comic-noir world.

9 itemsAbout the Game
After finding his wife’s lifeless body, Jack is ambushed by a demon… and forced to defend himself with the knife that killed her. A knife that now whispers in her voice. Embark on a journey of vengeance in a world where nothing is as it seems, with diabolical darkness roiling beneath every surface. Can you unveil the truth, or will you become a mere pawn in an ancient game?
Draw cards from your deck to empower one of three actions: Attack, Defend, and Prepare. A total of 21 produces exceptional results, but going over is a Bust, and will forfeit your action. An arsenal of modifiers, backgrounds, and items allows you to build a unique deck and master a play-style that is completely your own.
Stabjack features multiple cases with immersive investigation sequences. Examine grisly wounds and environmental damage, then use your intellect and intuition to find the culprit. Only you can bring the demons to justice.
Lovingly rendered art will make you feel like you’re walking through the pages of a comic book. However, combat is where Stabjack really shines! First-person knife-fights with crisp animation and dramatic camera movements create an unbelievable sense of tension.
Stabjack is a story-rich game filled with shocking surprises and memorable characters… But sometimes, you just want to slam cards. A simple checkbox disables the majority of text that’s not relevant to battles. Don’t worry: you can play through the story anytime.
