About the Game

You were with her. Then you weren't.

St. Agony's Rest is a first-person psychological horror game. You push an elderly woman's wheelchair through the shadowed halls of a Croatian monastery converted into a hospice. She is dying. She is the only one who perceives what moves in these corridors.

You cannot see it. You cannot hear it.

Her trembling hands, her sudden stillness, the shift in her breathing: these become your only warnings. Read her signals carefully or remain in the dark.

Her medication rests in your control.

Administer it and she grows calm, composed, and distant from uncomfortable truths. Withhold it and the barriers crack. Words spill out in fragments. The burden falls on both of you.

Descend.

Walls hold impressions they should not. Forgotten rooms contain notes in familiar handwriting, personal objects out of place, and institutional records that linger like accusations. Place them before her. Witness what follows.

A journal persists across every attempt, gathering fragments entry by entry, run by run. It never fully resolves.

Multiple endings await.

One question hangs unanswered throughout.

What do you owe the truth?

And what price will you ask her to pay to uncover it?
