Welcome to Mirrors OS - a haunted realm on your desktop.
It is filled with ghosts, skeletons, and other creatures of the night who have no place in the real world, still searching for the meaning they never found in life.

Just like Rin - a troubled dropout in her early twenties, finding her refuge here.
As is often the case with lost souls, she has no ambition to change the world or anyone else’s life, and simply drifts through the days, minding her own little concerns.
Everything was following its course, until one day  a corrupting glitch started to destroy the usual order of things, and a mysterious girl from her dreams reached out for help...

Rin's world is now yours to explore.

                   i'm so glad you're here again!
                                                               i was starting to think you'd forgotten our little digital city.
                         but you came back.
                                                     you always do.

This hand-drawn 32-bit pixel OS becomes a space for experiments and exploration.  

Your tasks are simple:

⟢  Make friends and find out their stories as you shape your own journey with multiple endings.

⟢  Solve puzzles and play minigames by breaking and dragging windows in the operating system.

⟢  Catch a cat hiding in folders, decorate your desktop with sunshine, get a pet fish.

⟢  Uncover the secrets of this world before it's too late.

Drag, click, type, scroll, play games, read and delete files, send messages - do everything you'd do in a regular OS. Discover new locations, get to know the enigmatic inhabitants of the city, and make choices with lasting consequences as you travel through data and opened windows on your desktop.

Everything seems clear until night falls, when dreams become too real and the desktop doesn't look so welcoming anymore.

Traverse broken windows and unstable paths in a nighttime platforming world that communicates with your Computer. The game reaches onto your real desktop, spawning clue-filled files and folders and opening apps and windows you’ll need to interact with.
Complete levels, unlock new mechanics, and dive deeper into Rin’s memories.

                                             they r so weird...

                                                                           sometimes i feel like my reflection could suddenly come to life...

                                                                           ...massive, massive teeth...
                                               ...and eat you alive!!       

You won't explore this digital city alone.
During your journey through Mirrors OS , as in any good adventure, you'll meet about a bunch of characters who can become your friends:

⟢  An irrepressible little ghost Sparkles who will always be on your side and won't let you get bored.

⟢  𓆩A𓆪, a frail alt-pop singer drawn to the otherworldly and prone to sleepwalking. Always someone to share moonlit walks with.

⟢   Full-time tough guy Skeletrock, made of bones, guitars, motorcycles, shoegaze, and a fragile heart inside, as often happens with musicians.

⟢  And 10+ other characters, each with their own story to tell.

Choose a soul- that could become your -mate. Give presents, make meaningful choices, dive into the depths of secrets and personal experiences.
After all, this world is all about connection...
