About the Game

You are the last hope of humanity

Spaceolar is an isometric base building and automation game. You play as an AI tasked to prepare a solar system for the arrival of humans. By mining resources and processing them you will be able to research advanced technology. All for your final goal to open a wormhole and allow humanity to settle in your new solar system.

Build production lines

Initially you must work with the resources your planet provides. Build drills and pumps to gather raw resources like coal, iron, water and regolith.

Build Furnaces and Assemblers to process your materials. You always have to connect your buildings with belts and pipes. You can always store your goods through a depot into a planet wide storage system. Buildings like the compressor allow you to freeze liquid water into solid ice to further process it and to be able to move it on belts.

Settle on new planets

The resources on your initial planet will not suffice to open the wormhole and finish the game. So you must start to build spaceships and settle on other planets which provide you with new resources. This requires you to build a spaceship hangar and build a production line for rocket fuel.

Generate power

Energy is the backbone of your production. Make sure that you always have enough energy available. Initially you can satisfy your energy requirements using solar panels. But an expanding factory will require large amounts of energy so you can start to invest in coal, nuclear or even fusion energy.

Build with your friends

Spaceolar allows you to cooperatively build your base with your friends. Let them join you into a new or an existing game via LAN multiplayer and see what you can build together.
