About the Game

Visit planets. Meet explorers. Manage crew. Scavenge, steal and craft the resources you need to get home.

Space Suits is a roguelike narrative card game where you play as the captain of a stranded starship, searching for a path home through an unfamiliar galaxy.

Craft your own epic science fiction story: When supplies run low, and they will, how will you handle it? Will you scavenge for oxygen on the next planet, or “save” some instead by throwing a crewmember out of the airlock?

  • Explore: Discover strange planets, unknown stars, abandoned outposts, and the technologies and secrets hidden on them

  • Make contact: Encounter fellow travellers and decide how to deal with them: bargain, threaten, charm, bribe…

  • Scavenge & survive: Manage the fuel, supplies and materials to survive long enough to make it home

  • Craft: Discover blueprints to upgrade your starship, “acquire” the parts, and craft the odds in your favour

  • Carry the burden of command: Recruit drifters, train them, and lead them. Every decision you make will come with a cost

  • Hand-Drawn Cards: The galaxy is brought to life by painstakingly hand-drawn and shaded comic-book illustrations

  • Try, die and try again: Often your story will come to a tragic end, and when it does the procedurally-generated universe ensures no two journeys will be the same
