Space Planet Explorer
One wrong jump ends the mission. Explore 76 real worlds, from Mercury to TRAPPIST-1e, built from NASA data and astronomical research. Manage scarce resources, survey distant worlds, and search for humanity's new home in a science-driven space roguelite where every run could be your last.

Space Planet Explorer is a roguelite of deep-space survey, built on real astronomy. Take command of a survey ship and chart 76 actual celestial bodies — from the cratered Moon to the radiation-blasted surface of WASP-12b — but fuel, hull integrity, and mission time are all scarce. Plot your route, weigh every risk, and bring the data home. Run out of resources and the mission is over.
This isn't a relaxing star-map. Every planet, moon, and exoplanet is a real body modeled from actual scientific data — and every jump between them is a gamble.
Scarce fuel — no auto-refuel. Distance costs resources, and every hop burns a cycle.
Hull damage — radiation, acid, heat, and volcanic activity (modeled on each world's real properties) wear your ship down.
Fog of war — unvisited worlds are shadows. Discovery is earned, one scan at a time.
Risk vs. reward — dangerous planets pay out double samples... if you survive them.
Permadeath & short runs — run out of resources and it's over. Every run, you get sharper.
Multiple endings — the worlds you choose as colony candidates decide how it ends.
The Solar System (Earth, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, and over a dozen moons including Europa, Titan, Enceladus, Io, and Triton), Proxima Centauri, the seven rocky planets of TRAPPIST-1, Kepler super-Earths and ocean worlds, extreme exoplanets, and dwarf planets from Ceres to Sedna.
Orbit each world as a true 3D globe. Scan the surface to reveal real points of interest — Olympus Mons, the Grand Canyon, Titan's Kraken Mare, Jupiter's Great Red Spot — each with a detailed science briefing. Collect six sample types and spend them at Hesperus Station on upgrades that push your reach deeper into the galaxy.
Choose your science officer from four fully voiced personalities and pick your ship from a fleet of vessels. Your officer flags discoveries, milestones, and the moments that matter.
Every temperature, atmosphere, gravity value, and fun fact is drawn from published research and NASA mission data. It's a roguelite you can actually learn from.
